Today marks an important milestone for Devon LMC.
We’re launching our new Devon LMC website, alongside a refreshed visual identity (including a new logo and colour palette) designed to better reflect who we are, how we work, and the practices we represent.
This is more than a fresh look. It’s about creating a clearer, more accessible, and more member-focussed way for you to engage with your LMC and the support available to you.
A clearer, calmer space for practices
The new website has been shaped around the real needs to General Practice in Devon. You’ll find information that’s easier to navigate, clearer to understand, and quicker to access – whether you’re looking for updates, guidance, support services, learning opportunities, or insight into our representative and negotiations work.
We’ve focused on clarity, transparency, and usability (across all platforms), so that the site works for you in the flow of busy practice life.
A refreshed look, rooted in our values
Alongside the website, we’ve introduced a refreshed brand that reflects our values as an organisation: professional, grounded, supportive, and connected to the practices we serve.
The visual identity is intentionally calm, clear, and consistent, helping create a coherent experience across everything we share with you. We’ve also taken the opportunity to weave into the logo a subtle nod to our golden thread of engagement, using the serpent from the Rod of Asclepius – a long-standing symbol of medicine – reflecting both continuity and connection across our work.
Our Devon LMC Members Area
To get the most from the new website, we encourage anyone working in General Practice leadership, including GPs, Practice Managers, Practice Nurses, and other members of your practice leadership team, to sign up to our Members Area.
Registering unlocks the full suite of member resources and content, and you only need to do this once. When you’re not logged in, any content that’s available to exclusively to members is clearly marked with a padlock icon on the content image. Once logged in, all member-only content will be full visible and accessible.
And just to reassure you: this this is not SharePoint.
In fact, we are so confident the sign-up process is smooth and intuitive that we’re not providing step-by-step instructions; it really is that easy.
When you register, you’ll also have the opportunity to to choose which of our regular communications you’d like to receive, so you only hear from us in ways that are useful to you. If you change your mind at any point, these preferences can easily be updated via your member profile.
Once you’ve registered, our team will approve each member account individually to ensure access remains secure and appropriate. We anticipate a high volume of sign-ups over the coming weeks and will work through these are quickly as possible. Please bear with us if there is a short delay before your account is approved.
Our Members Area
This is where you step inside. Our Members Area is open to all GPs, PMs, Practice Nurses and General Practice leaders working in Devon. It's a dedicated space for exclusive resources, trusted guidance and tools to support you in your day-today work. You'll find the full breadth of our work inside.
Part of a wider transformation
This launch is one part of our wider transformation, strengthening how we communicate, how we listen, and how we support General Practice across Devon.
Our aim is simple: to make it easier for practices to stay informed, feel represented, and access the right support at the right time.
A quick note from the team
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working intensively behind the scenes to prepare the website and content for launch. As a result, some response times may have been slower than usual, and we appreciate your patience during this period. Thank you for bearing with us while we’ve been getting everything ready.
We’d love you to explore our new website and see what’s changed. We welcome any thoughts and feedback you may have.
