Devon is currently facing a serious workforce shortage of nurses and allied health professionals (AHP). Devon’s Clinical Placement Expansion Programme (CPEP) will contribute to resolving this workforce shortage by increasing nursing and AHP learner placement capacity within primary health and social care services. This will mean that nursing and AHP learners will have an opportunity to be immersed into these services, gaining an understanding of a person’s journey, their social context and holistic needs. We are recruiting a CPEP Project Worker who will work as part of a team to support primary and social care providers to become Approved Placement Providers. Patient Services Advisor Part-Time (Secretarial & Admin Focused)

·        To provide a source of contact for patients and act as a main point of communication between patients, doctors and other medical staff.

·        To provide secretarial support to all members of the Practice team across two sites.

·        To utilise, maintain and manage the Choose and Book referral system in line with national and local protocols.

·        To undertake administrative functions in accordance with practice protocols.

·        To ensure the smooth & efficient flow of work in the office.
