Norton Brook Medical Centre , Kingsbridge, DEVON.  [set in the beautiful South Hams] We are a 9 partner GMC practice.
List size approx. 10,500 High QOF achievers, SystmOne IT system
Purpose built modern premises. Part of the South Hams Primary Care Network. Supportive and friendly team of admin and clinical colleagues.
We train medical students, F2 doctors and GP registrars. The doctors have a personal list system and also provide cover for in-patient beds at the neighbouring South Hams Hospital.

 Excellent local schools and beautiful beaches.

Practice Manager – Full time or Part Time

An opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and highly motivated manager to join the team the Blackdown Practice overseeing all business functions, providing strategic guidance and planning to the partners and leading and managing the practice to enable the organisation meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe, effective working environment and maintaining a high standard of patient care.


We are a 3-sited fully dispensing PMS training practice located across the beautiful Blackdown Hills on the Devon Somerset border with a 7,780 list size that is growing.


The successful candidate will be motivated, committed, and forward-thinking with experience and enthusiasm in managing an NHS organisation/department. They will have demonstrable skills in leadership, human resource management, financial management, information management and technology and service development. Excellent communication are essential.


You will be supported by a our simply great clinical and non-clinical teams and will also work closely with the community teams and local voluntary organisation co-located at the main Hemyock site.


For those new to the area or in the process of relocating, the coast, Dartmoor, Exmoor and the county towns of Exeter and Taunton are very accessible from the Blackdown Hills. Our location allows you to easily explore the South West but also to travel further afield quickly. There is an excellent choice of schools in the area.


The practice is very prepared to wait for the right person and our current practice manager is remaining in post until the successful candidate can start.
