Job Summary A rare opportunity has arisen for a Reception Supervisor to join the team at St Neots Surgery, Plymouth. We are looking for a highly motivated person ideally with experience working in General Practice. The successful candidate will have: • A minimum of 2 years working with General Practice - desirable • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within Customer Services - desirable • Excellent communication skills, including a polite and friendly telephone manner, a constructive solution focused approach and a professional appearance – essential • Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and problem solving to resolve difficulties - essential • A strong awareness of confidentiality and to be able to understand the provisions of the Data Protection Act, GDPR and Access to Medical Reports Act – desirable • Experience and Knowledge of the role of Supervisor - desirable • Ability to be entirely flexible to cover additional hours on an occasional basis for holiday/sickness cover – essential • If the applicant is a registered patient at the practice, they should be prepared for themselves and immediate family members to register at a different GP surgery – essential • Highly computer literate and able to use internet, email, Word, Excel – desirable but training can be given • Ability to pass an enhanced C.R.B (Disclosure & Barring Service) check – essential Applications: . Chelston Hall Surgery in Torquay is looking to appoint a Finance Officer. This is an exciting new role which has been created to support the Partners and Management Team with the overall financial operation of the practice. We are a large, forward thinking practice operating over two sites, one at Chelston Hall and the other at Barton Surgery. We have completed several successful mergers and now have a diverse patient population with a list size of approximately 20,000 patients.

The successful candidate will have previous financial experience, ideally within a primary care environment, and be able to support the overall smooth financial operation of the business. The post holder will have excellent communication skills and liaise regularly with the Business Manager and accountants to present accurate and timely financial information.

In return we offer a competitive salary of £24,000 - £30,000 pro rata, 27 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays pro rata, and the opportunity join the NHS pension scheme

We are seeking a highly organised and committed individual, ideally with previous experience of working within a primary care environment. The successful candidate will report to the Business Manager and be responsible for the efficient daily administrative and operational element of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to build on the strengths of a long established position within the surgery, and contribute to the continued development of the practice. A resilient character, and a willingness to adapt to change and new ways of working are key to this role.

Exeter West Primary Care Network is looking for an experienced manager to support the Allied Healthcare Professional additional roles within the network.

 

This post involves flexible working to a total of about 5 hours a week, suiting those with childcare and other commitments. 

 

This exciting new role is to support the Clinical Director and lead Practice Manager in optimising educational opportunities, running an appraisal system and optimising the value derived from PCN additional roles.

 

Responsibilities include :

 

  • Co-ordinating deployment of individuals to optimise benefit to the PCN and equitable support for member Practices

  • Recruitment and induction of new staff

  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation

  • Co-ordinating clinical supervision appraisal, development and training

  • Overseeing capability, disciplinary and grievance procedures

Population Health Fellow (Primary Care)

Population Health – Public Health & ICS

To support the PCNs and ICS develop a framework model for Population Health Management (“PHM”) with an intervention to be left in place for Practices to develop further with Public Health. The aim is to leave a culture of Public Health knowledge with General Practice when considering what it is that people need from services and how it may be delivered. The role will be shaped further by the successful applicant(s)
